The food was affordable and delicious. We ordered 5 plates and 3 drinks. It was 61 with tax and tip, AND we left with enough for dinner and possibly a lunch. The portions were generous and the food was freshly made-coming out piping hot. The hot and sour soup with noodles and the pork and cabbage dumplings were my favorite. My daughter loved her curry beef. I like a hole in the wall atmosphere. They never claimed to be fancy and you can see that from the outside. What they are, is authentic, polite, and delicious. We will be back again and again.

The food is great! Family owned! Looks like husband and wife business! Please don’t get discouraged by the looks in the outside! Definitely going back!!

I had the beef tripe noodles soup. It was deeleecious! The owner was so nice to recommend that soup, and we also had a nice chat. Price was great too!

One of the best meals we have eaten here. It helped that today was cold and the perfect weather for hot soup with noodles. Don't let the exterior or plastic forks fool you. This place is awesome, and affordable, but mostly awesome. We had pork buns (bao), soup dumplings (better than we had in Hong Kong), braised beef noodles, and hot hot and sour soup with noodles. It was amazing. Glad we ordered more to go.

China pasta house might look underwhelming and not popular on the outside, they have great food and a lovely family running the restaurant. This place is so fairly priced and their food always hits home for me. Their leek dumplings and sesame chicken noodles and tea eggs are my absolute favorite. This place fed me throughout college and I wish I had a place like this next to where I live now. Their dumplings are all good.

What an amazing find!! The food selections are delicious & authentic, and the price is unbelievably affordable with huge portions. For anyone looking for authentic Chinese food options, this is a must-visit.

One of my good friends from China brought me here a few years ago. He said it's northern style food. Food is always delicious. Got veggie dumplings and pork soybean noodles but everything we've tried is great. Tea egg is a must try.

I used to come here all the time during my years at the U of A. Felt like a true hidden gem, it was somehow always really quiet despite having amazing prices and really good quality/quantity for dumplings. The bao are fantastic as well. I miss this place dearly and am glad to see it still going strong
